گیان واپی جامع مسجد کے تہہ خانے میں پوجا کی اجازت دینے پر جمعیۃ علمائے ہند کے صدر مولانا ارشد مدنی نے سخت ردعمل کا اظہار کیا ہے۔

انہوں نے کہاکہ ملک کی آزادی کے بعد سے اس طرح کے مسائل سے مسلمان گھرے ہوئے ہیں۔ سپریم کورٹ کو بابری مسجد کے سلسلے میں قانون کے مطابق فیصلہ کرنا تھا لیکن سپریم کورٹ نے بابری مسجد ہونے کا اعتراف کرتے ہوئے بھی محض ’آستھا‘ کی بنیاد پر فیصلہ سنایا جس کی وجہ سے آج کل عدالتوں سے اس طرح کے فیصلے صادر ہورہے ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہاکہ مسلمانوں نے بابری مسجد کے سلسلے میں دلائل کی بنیاد پر فیصلہ قبول کرنے کی بات کہی تھی لیکن جو فیصلہ آیا وہ ہم نے ہی نہیں بلکہ بڑے بڑے وکلاء اور دانشوروں نے بھی اس فیصلے سے اختلاف کیا۔ انہوں نے کہاکہ صورت حال یہ ہوگئی ہے کہ جس عدالت میں بھی عقیدت کا معاملہ آئے گا وہاں ’آستھا‘ کی بنیاد پر فیصلہ ہوگا۔ ہندوستان میں اگر یہی روش ہوگی تو خواہ جین ہویا عیسائی، پارسی ہو یا سکھ کسی کو انصاف نہیں ملے گا۔ یہ ملک کے لئے بڑا المیہ ہوگا۔ کسی بھی جمہوری نطام میں عدالتیں ہی مظلوموں کی داد رسی کاآخری سہارا ہوتی ہیں اور اگر وہ جانبداری کرنے لگیں تو انصاف کی دہائی کس سے لگائی جائے گی...

Maulana Arshad Madani, president of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, has expressed a strong reaction to the permission of worship in the basement of Gyanvapi Masjid.

 He said that since the independence of the country, Muslims have been surrounded by such problems. The Supreme Court had to take a decision regarding the Babri Masjid according to the law, but the Supreme Court, while admitting that it is a Babri Masjid, gave a decision on the basis of 'Aastha', due to which such decisions are being issued by the courts today. He said that Muslims had said to accept the decision on the basis of arguments in relation to Babri Masjid, but the decision that came was not only us but also big lawyers and intellectuals disagreed with this decision. He said that the situation has become such that in whichever court the matter of devotion comes, there will be a decision on the basis of 'Aastha'. If this is the attitude in India, no one will get justice, be it Jain, Christian, Parsi or Sikh. It will be a great tragedy for the country. In any democratic system, the courts are the last resort for the justice of the oppressed and if they start taking sides, who will bring justice...
